This space is prepared for student to roll ink on Lino.
Reference lines are made in advance for a precise guideline for students to use for proper print position and proportion.

LINOCUT: In The City
- Research subject images of cityscape, city elements, city culture, city architecture.
- Sketch ideas in sketchbook.
- Draw final sketch on transfer paper using pencil and copy onto LINO.
- Use Art Classroom safety procedures and personal space during the cutting process. Cut AWAY from the body. Clean space and throw away scraps.
- Linocut print must display high contrast positive and negative space.
- Prepare watercolor paper with an abstract background.
- Create 2 prints (first - Japanese paper, second - watercolor background).
- Use black block print ink.
- Artwork must display high contrast positive & negative SPACE, LINE, SHAPE, TEXTURE
- Cityscape should show CRAFTSMANSHIP, NEATNESS, CLEAN and CRISP PRINTING LINES.
