Ink Blot & Watercolor Composition
Materials: Drawing paper, black & white photograph, India ink, ink pen, transparency film, watercolor palette, watercolor brushes.
Preparation: Students receive a visual demonstration step-by-step of project criteria. Students choose from an array of black and white photographs to copy and ink.
Learning Objective: Students learn about mono-printing. Students create their own mono-print ink blot using a trace and press technique. Students experience the medium, India ink paired with watercolor.
